# Axiom Points Explained: How They Accrue and What They Actually Promise

> Axiom points accrue from four documented sources, with no published earn rate or conversion. What the docs actually say, and what the farming pitch leaves out.

**Axiom points are a score the Axiom trading terminal accrues to your account from your own trading, from the trading of people you referred, and from quests, tracked on a leaderboard in the app.** They are not a token and not a claim on one. They accrue whether you think about them or not, and Axiom publishes no rate at which they are earned.

What Axiom does not publish is how many points anything earns, what they convert into, or when. That gap between "the program is real" and "the program pays" is where most of the speculation lives, and it is what this page is about.

The strongest thing Axiom's documentation says about points is that they unlock "additional benefits and potential future rewards." That is the quoted language, read August 2026. Not a token, not an airdrop, not a conversion rate. Any content telling you otherwise is filling in a blank the documentation leaves open.

## The four ways points accrue

Per Axiom's own [documentation](https://docs.axiom.trade), read August 2026, points come from four sources:

1. **Every trade you place.** Volume-linked, rate unpublished.
2. **The trading activity of users you referred.** Your referrals generate points for you as they trade.
3. **The trading activity of their referrals.** One level further down again.
4. **Quests.** Discrete tasks with point awards attached.

A leaderboard tracks the result. That is genuinely the full documented mechanic, which is less than most readers expect to find.

Note the shape of it: three of the four sources are volume, either yours or that of someone you brought in. So the program pays out on trading and on recruiting. Axiom does not publish a rationale for that design, and we are not going to invent one.

## What the documentation actually says, and does not

This is where the useful detail is, so it is worth being exact.

**What appears:** points "unlock additional benefits and potential future rewards."

**What does not appear on any documentation page we read in August 2026:**

- Any point value, earn rate, or multiplier
- Any conversion rate into anything
- The word "airdrop"
- The word "season"

That last absence is more informative than it looks. Points programs elsewhere often run in seasons with an end date and a defined reward pool, because a season is how a platform commits to distributing something. Axiom has published no season, no end date and no pool. The program has no published terminus at which anything happens.

"Potential future rewards" is doing a lot of work in that sentence, and no published document narrows it.

There is no Axiom token, and any AXIOM contract address, presale, or TGE claim is a scam. The tradable AXIOM listed on CoinGecko is an unrelated memecoin on Base with no connection to Axiom Trade. We cover the impersonation problem in [is there an Axiom token](/ecosystem/is-there-an-axiom-token).

## The quest values you will see quoted

Third-party trackers circulate specific quest figures. We are listing the categories rather than the numbers, because you will encounter the numbers and should know their status:

| Quest | Reported award | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Refer a set number of users | A fixed point award | **Unverified**, third-party |
| Exceed a SOL volume threshold | A fixed point award | **Unverified**, third-party |
| Complete a set number of transactions | A fixed point award | **Unverified**, third-party |

The specific figures come from airdrop-tracking sites rather than from Axiom. No official source confirms any of them, and since Axiom publishes no conversion rate, even an accurate point total would not tell you what it is worth. A number with no denominator is not information.

## What "potential future rewards" is worth, honestly

Here is the arithmetic nobody farming points wants to do.

You pay a 1% gross fee on spot swaps, falling to 0.75% net at the top cashback tier, per Axiom's [fee documentation](https://docs.axiom.trade/getting-started/fees/axiom-fees). That cost is certain, immediate, and denominated in dollars. The points are uncertain, undated, and denominated in nothing.

To justify extra trading for points, you need the points to be worth more than the fees you paid earning them. There is no published figure that lets you compute that, in either direction. Anyone telling you the expected value is positive is guessing, and so would we be if we told you it was negative.

What we can say: **if you would not place the trade anyway, nothing published makes the points a reason to place it.** Points on trades you were making regardless are a free upside. Points as a trading thesis are a fee-paying scheme with an unspecified payout.

The market is priced accordingly, for what that is worth. [Polymarket's market on whether Axiom launches a token](https://polymarket.com/event/will-axiom-launch-a-token-in-2025), with about $202,000 traded since it opened in November 2025, priced a launch by 31 December 2026 at roughly **7%** and by the end of 2027 at 42% when we checked it on 14 August 2026. Axiom's founders told [Blockworks](https://blockworks.com/news/axiom-ycombinator-startup-solana-memecoin-revenue-10m) they have **"no plans of launching a token."** [DefiLlama's Axiom listing](https://defillama.com/protocol/axiom), checked 14 August 2026, records $736.7 million in all-time fees and describes protocol revenue as what remains after referral and cashback payouts. Nothing in it points at a token, because there is not one.

## The one thing that has actually changed

A December 2025 in-app notice told users rewards were being revamped for 2026 and asked them to claim before 31 December. That is the only concrete program change on the record, and it is worth knowing for one reason: a program that gets revamped with a claim deadline is a program whose terms can change under you. Points accrued under one set of rules are not a contract.

## What is actually guaranteed instead

Since the points are unquantified, it is worth naming the parts of Axiom's reward stack that are not.

**SOL cashback is real and published.** Seven tiers, taking the net spot fee from 0.95% down to 0.75%, paid back in SOL. It is a discount on the trade in front of you rather than a claim on the future. The [fee guide](/guides/fees/axiom-fees-explained) covers the full ladder, and the one gap is that Axiom does not publish the volume each tier requires.

**The referral discount is real and immediate.** Axiom's [referral documentation](https://docs.axiom.trade/getting-started/referral-program) says users who sign up using a referral link receive a 10% discount on trading fees, applied from the first trade. How that discount interacts with the cashback ladder is not documented. See the [referral page](/referral) for the mechanics.

Between those two, the savings you can calculate exceed anything the points are known to be worth, because nothing published establishes what the points are worth at all. That is not a criticism of the points program. It is an argument for optimizing the fee you can read off a page over the reward nobody can price.

## FAQ

### How do you earn Axiom points?

Four sources, per Axiom's own documentation as read in August 2026: every trade you place, the trading activity of users you referred, the trading activity of their referrals one level further down, and completing quests. Progress appears on a leaderboard. Axiom does not publish how many points any of these actions awards, so the rate is unknown.

### Are Axiom points worth anything?

Nothing confirmed. Axiom's documentation says points unlock additional benefits and potential future rewards. That is the language the documentation uses, and it stops short of a commitment. As of August 2026 there is no published conversion rate, no announced reward, no token and no confirmed airdrop. Treat their value as genuinely unknown rather than as delayed.

### Will Axiom points convert into an airdrop?

No airdrop has been confirmed, and the word airdrop does not appear on the Axiom documentation pages we read in August 2026. Axiom's founders told Blockworks they have no plans of launching a token. Polymarket's market on an Axiom token priced a launch by 31 December 2026 at roughly 7% when we checked it on 14 August 2026. Anyone presenting points as a route to a guaranteed payout is speculating.

### Is there an Axiom points season?

No season structure is documented. As of August 2026 no season, end date or reward pool appears on Axiom's documentation pages, which is worth knowing because points programs elsewhere often run in seasons with a defined end date and a stated reward pool. A December 2025 in-app notice did say rewards were being revamped for 2026 and asked users to claim before 31 December.

### How many points do Axiom quests give?

Axiom does not publish quest values. Third-party trackers circulate specific figures for referral counts, volume thresholds and transaction counts, and none of them come from Axiom. We treat every such number as unverified rather than as fact, because no official source confirms any of them.

### Should I trade more to farm Axiom points?

Axiom publishes no earn rate and no conversion rate, so what the points are worth cannot be calculated, while the 1% gross fee on each trade is a known and immediate cost. Nothing published lets you weigh one against the other in either direction. If you would not place the trade anyway, nothing documented makes the points a reason to place it. This is not financial advice.
