# How to Verify You're on the Real Axiom Trade (Fake Sign-Up Sites)

**The official Axiom domain is `axiom.trade`.** There is no mirror, no regional variant, no separate registration portal, and no `.com` equivalent. Everything below follows from that one fact.

This page exists because of something visible in this site's own search data: people are arriving at Axiompedia after searching a **full step-by-step registration script naming a domain that is not axiom.trade, complete with an invitation code**. That is not a search someone performs out of curiosity. It is what you type when a script has been handed to you and you are following it. If that is you, stop and read the tells section before you enter anything.

The single most reliable tell costs you nothing to check: Axiom's real sign-up has no invitation code field. Referral codes exist and are optional discounts. An "invitation code" you cannot proceed without is not Axiom.

## The official domain, and where the real sign-up lives

The real flow, in full, so you have something to compare against:

1. You open **[axiom.trade](https://axiom.trade/@axiompe)** directly.
2. You choose one of exactly three options: an **email address**, a **Google account**, or connecting a ** Phantom wallet**.
3. If you chose email, Axiom sends a **one-time code to that email address** to confirm it.
4. Axiom provisions a wallet for you through  Turnkey and shows you a **12-word seed phrase**, which you save.
5. You fund it and trade.

That is the whole thing. Only domains with a documented observation behind them, with the source of each stated. This is not a complete list of everything that exists, and a domain being absent here means nothing.

Note the first entry carefully, because it is the nastiest pattern here: `auth-axiom.trade` contains the real domain as a substring. Reading left to right and stopping at "axiom.trade" is exactly the mistake it is built to exploit. The domain is whatever sits immediately before the final slash, and here that is `auth-axiom.trade`, a different registration entirely.

Two domains that are **not** scams, so you do not report the wrong thing: `axiomxchange.com` is an unrelated company that happens to share the name, and `axiompro.app` is an unofficial affiliate site rather than a phishing page. ## The tells in a fake sign-up flow

Ordered by how reliable they are.

**1. An invitation code you cannot skip.** The real flow has no such field. Referral codes are optional and give *you* a 10% fee discount; an invitation code presented as mandatory access is a different thing wearing a similar word. This tell alone is sufficient.

**2. A phone number or SMS verification.** No part of Axiom's real sign-up involves a phone number. An SMS step means you are not on Axiom.

**3. Any request for your seed phrase or private key.** Instant, unconditional stop. Axiom *gives* you a seed phrase; it never asks for one. Nothing legitimate ever does.

**4. A domain that is a near-miss.** Extra words, hyphens, a different suffix, or the real domain buried inside a longer one. Check the last two labels before the first slash and nothing else.

**5. A deposit required to "activate" or "verify" the account.** Axiom has no minimum deposit and no activation fee. Funding is trading capital, not a gate.

**6. Someone messaged you first.** Axiom's support does not initiate contact. A DM offering sign-up help, a bonus, or account recovery is not support.

**7. Urgency.** Limited slots, an expiring bonus, an account that will be closed. The real flow has no deadline.

## What a non-custodial terminal never needs from you

Worth understanding structurally rather than as a checklist, because it tells you why these requests are impossible rather than merely unusual.

Axiom is [not an exchange](/ecosystem/is-axiom-trade-an-exchange). It never holds your funds, so it has no account balance to verify, no withdrawal to approve, and no compliance obligation requiring your identity. That means it has no legitimate reason to ask for:

- Your seed phrase or private key
- A government ID, selfie or proof of address
- A phone number
- A payment to unlock, verify or upgrade anything
- Remote access to your device or screen

Every one of those is a request that only makes sense if the person asking is running a different business than the one they claim to be in.

## If you already entered details

Act by what you actually gave up.

**You entered a seed phrase or private key.** Treat that wallet as gone. Generate a **new** wallet with a new phrase, in  Phantom or  Solflare, and move everything now. Do not change a password and consider it handled: whoever holds the phrase owns the wallet permanently, and drains are often delayed to arrive when you have stopped watching.

**You connected a wallet and approved a transaction.** Revoke the approvals through a revocation tool, then move funds to a fresh wallet. An approval can allow spending later without asking again.

**You entered only an email address.** No funds are at risk. Expect targeted follow-up phishing that will know you are an Axiom user, and treat any Axiom email arriving unprompted as suspect.

**You entered nothing and simply visited.** You are fine. Close the tab and go to axiom.trade directly.

Whatever happened, export your real seed phrase from Settings and store it somewhere you control. ## Checking any Axiom link before you click

1. **Type the domain yourself** rather than following a link, for anything involving a wallet. This defeats every lookalike at once and costs five seconds.
2. **Read the domain backwards from the final slash.** `auth-axiom.trade` fails; `axiom.trade/@axiompe` passes, because a path after the slash cannot change which site you are on.
3. **Distrust search ads and social links.** Both are routinely bought by lookalikes; a top result is not a verification.
4. **Check nothing is being asked that cannot be needed.** Invitation code, SMS, seed phrase, ID: any one of them ends the process.
5. **Verify support channels independently.** Discord tickets on the official server only, and staff never message first.

### What is the official Axiom Trade website?

axiom.trade, and nothing else. There is no regional variant, no mirror, no .com equivalent and no separate registration portal. Any other domain offering Axiom sign-up is not Axiom, regardless of how closely the page resembles the real one.

### Does Axiom Trade use an invitation code to sign up?

No. Axiom uses referral codes, which apply a fee discount and are entirely optional, and it never requires an invitation or access code to create an account. A page that will not let you proceed without an invitation code is not Axiom's sign-up flow. This is one of the most reliable tells, because the real flow has no such field.

### Does Axiom ever ask for a phone number or SMS code?

No. Sign-up is by email, Google account, or connecting a Phantom wallet. Email registration sends a one-time code to your email address, so an email code by itself is not a red flag, but a phone number or SMS verification step is, because no part of the real flow involves one. There is no KYC step at all for trading.

### Would Axiom ever ask for my seed phrase?

Never, and neither would any legitimate platform. Axiom generates a seed phrase and gives it to you; it has no reason to ask for one back. Any page, bot, support agent or app requesting your seed phrase or private key is stealing from you, including anything claiming to be Axiom or claiming to be us.

### I already entered my details on a fake Axiom site. What should I do?

If you entered a seed phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and move funds immediately to a new wallet with a newly generated phrase, because whoever holds the phrase can drain it at any time and rotating a password does nothing. If you only entered an email address, no funds are at risk, but expect targeted follow-up phishing. If you connected a wallet and approved a transaction, revoke the approvals and move the funds.
