What Does Axiom Charge?

Axiom is not zero-fee. According to Axiom's official fee documentation, read August 2026, spot swaps carry a 1% gross fee, applied as a single flat rate rather than a separate maker/taker split. What you actually pay net of that is reduced by a seven-tier cashback program paid back in SOL, so a $10,000 trade costs $95 at the base Wood tier and $75 at the top Champion tier. The same trading is what feeds the rewards side of the account, and how the fees you pay turn into points goes through what Axiom actually documents about them. The same documentation puts perpetuals on a different model entirely: Axiom takes 0.01% per transaction through its Hyperliquid builder code, and Hyperliquid's own base fee, which Hyperliquid sets and publishes on its own fee page, stacks on top of that. One figure Axiom does not publish is the trading volume each cashback tier requires, so no source, including this one, can tell you what volume reaches Champion. These terms can change as Axiom updates its model, so always verify against the official docs and the app before trading.

How Do Axiom's Fees Compare to Other Solana Terminals?

A 1% base fee puts Axiom in line with most Solana trading terminals rather than meaningfully cheaper. On each platform's own published schedule, read August 2026, Trojan advertises tiered rebates down to 0.5% and Bloom holds a flat 0.9% with no cashback mechanism at all. BullX no longer matters for a fee comparison: it announced a pause of trading in June 2026 and has not resumed, with $203 million in all-time fees on DefiLlama, read August 2026. The category-share figures cited on this site come from DefiLlama's public fee data rather than from any platform's own marketing. What distinguishes Axiom is the bundle around the headline rate: the same 1% (down to 0.75%) buys access to Pulse discovery, migration sniping, wallet and X tracking, and a route to Hyperliquid perps in one terminal. Axiom also leads the category on fee revenue, though whether the bundle is what produced that is not something this site can demonstrate. What Do You Actually Pay on Axiom?

Beyond the swap fee itself, two more costs shape what a trade actually runs you: the priority fee and the Jito tip, both defaulting to 0.001 SOL per transaction and both adjustable before you confirm. The priority fee helps a transaction land ahead of others during congestion; the Jito tip routes it through Jito's infrastructure, which matters most when MEV protection is set to Reduced or Secure. For what to actually enter in those two boxes, the slippage and priority-fee settings we tested works through each value and where it breaks. Deposits and withdrawals cost only the standard Solana network fee. Axiom does not add its own charge on top. The one exception is axiSOL, Axiom's liquid-staking token, which carries a 5% fee on earnings and a 0.1% withdrawal fee.

How Do the Seven Cashback Tiers Work?

Axiom pays a percentage of your trading fees back in SOL as you move up seven tiers: Wood (1x multiplier, 0.05% cashback, 0.95% net), Bronze (2x, 0.10%, 0.90% net), Silver (2.5x, 0.125%, 0.875% net), Gold (3x, 0.15%, 0.85% net), Platinum (3.5x, 0.175%, 0.825% net), Diamond (4x, 0.20%, 0.80% net), and Champion (5x, 0.25%, 0.75% net). Axiom's own framing is that each tier level is worth 5% cashback on trading fees: a 1x multiplier returns 5% of the 1% fee (0.05%), and a 5x multiplier returns 25% of it (0.25%). The volume required to reach each tier is not published, so the honest answer is that you find out by trading.

Does the Referral Discount Stack With Cashback?

Signing up through an Axiom referral link gives the referred user an automatic 10% discount on trading fees, applied on top of whatever cashback tier they are on. The referrer, in turn, earns a three-level commission on Axiom's net fee: 30% on their direct referrals' trading, 3% on that person's referrals, and 2% on the level below that, with no cap on depth. Axiom's own worked example: a $10,000 trade producing a $100 fee pays the direct referrer $30, the second level $3, and the third level $2. Exactly how the 10% discount interacts with the seven-tier cashback table numerically is not documented by Axiom, so treat any specific combined-rate claim as an estimate rather than a guarantee.

What Does a Real Trade Actually Cost?

Over a month of active trading, the gap between the base Wood tier and the top Champion tier adds up. A quarter-point of cashback on every fill is real money for a high-frequency trader.
