Axiom Fee Schedule: What a Trade Costs at Every Tier
Table of Contents
Axiom's fee structure gets misquoted constantly, usually by aggregator sites copying each other rather than checking the actual docs. Here's the real number and the full cashback ladder, with every Axiom figure taken from docs.axiom.trade, read 2026-08-14. The per-trade math sits below, tier by tier. For a one-screen summary of every Axiom cost instead, start at the fees overview.
Axiom's base fee is 1%, not zero. Cashback tiers bring it down to as low as 0.75%, and a referral link is documented as a 10% discount on trading fees. Tier volume thresholds are not published, so you find out by trading.

What Does a Swap Actually Cost at Each Fee Tier?
Axiom charges 1% gross on every spot trade. That's reduced by a seven-tier SOL cashback system, and the same volume separately determines how fees translate into points:
| Tier | Multiplier | Net Fee | Cashback |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wood | 1× | 0.95% | 0.05% |
| Bronze | 2× | 0.90% | 0.10% |
| Silver | 2.5× | 0.875% | 0.125% |
| Gold | 3× | 0.85% | 0.15% |
| Platinum | 3.5× | 0.825% | 0.175% |
| Diamond | 4× | 0.80% | 0.20% |
| Champion | 5× | 0.75% | 0.25% |
The math checks out cleanly against Axiom's own framing: each tier multiplier times a 5% base cashback rate equals that tier's cashback percentage of the 1% fee. 1× gets you 5% of 1% back (0.05%); 5× gets you 25% back (0.25%).
Warning
The volume required to reach each tier is not published in Axiom's documentation, and we have not found a source that publishes it. Any guide quoting a specific dollar threshold per tier is guessing. Trade and watch your tier status change; that's currently the only way to know.
The Referral Discount
Axiom's referral documentation says users who sign up using a referral link "receive a 10% discount on trading fees," applied automatically with no separate code to enter. Our link is axiom.trade/@axiompe.
What Axiom does not document is how that 10% interacts with the cashback ladder, so we do not publish a combined rate. If you want the base the discount applies to, the docs do not state it, and any site that gives you a precise post-discount number has filled that gap in itself.
On the referrer's side, Axiom's own documentation describes a three-level commission on the referred user's fees: 30% to the direct referrer, 3% to their referrer, and 2% one level above that, and it walks through a $10,000 trade generating a $100 fee, with the direct referrer earning $30, the next level up $3, and the level above that $2. Payout mechanics beyond that, including cadence and whether a claim step is involved, are not documented by Axiom, and we are not going to reconstruct a private company's payout machinery from third-party notes. If you're weighing the referral program as a serious income source, see our full referral breakdown.
Perpetuals Fees
Axiom's perpetuals orders reach Hyperliquid, so two parties charge you. Axiom's fee documentation lists 0.01% per transaction on its side. Hyperliquid charges its own maker and taker fees under a schedule Hyperliquid publishes and controls, and those rates move with your volume there rather than with your Axiom tier. Leverage on Axiom's perps interface goes up to 50x. This is different math from Axiom's spot fee, so don't assume the 0.75% to 1% range carries over, because it doesn't.
Priority Fees and Jito Tips
Two separate levers control how fast your transaction lands, and both default to 0.001 SOL:
- Priority fee pays the Solana validator directly to prioritize your transaction in the block.
- Jito tip pays into Jito's MEV bundle auction, which is also the mechanism behind Axiom's Reduced MEV protection mode.
Raise either when you're racing a fast-moving migration or a launch everyone's trying to buy at once. Lower them on an established token where speed doesn't matter as much as fee efficiency.
Neither lever protects you from being sandwiched, which is a separate setting and a separate cost. Read MEV protection modes and what they cost you before deciding how much to pay for speed, because the fastest configuration is also the most exposed one. For how the two tips interact with slippage in practice, see best Axiom Trade settings.
What Costs Nothing
Axiom doesn't charge its own fee on deposits or withdrawals. You pay standard Solana network gas, typically a fraction of a cent. Perps withdrawals are the exception worth knowing about: they leave through Hyperliquid's bridge, which is not Axiom's infrastructure, so timing and any cost on that leg are set by the bridge. Axiom publishes no delivery time for it and neither do we.
What Does a Trade on a Fresh Launch Cost All In?
Axiom's fee is only one layer of what you actually pay on a Pump.fun-origin token. Stack Axiom's 0.75% to 0.95% on top of PumpSwap's own fee, which Pump.fun sets and publishes on its fee page tiered by market cap from roughly 1.25% down to about 0.30%, read August 2026, plus priority fee and Jito tip, plus whatever slippage the pool's depth forces on you, and a round trip on a fresh launch can run past 4% all-in. That AMM layer is not unique to Axiom, because every terminal routing through the same pools pays it, but it is worth knowing before you size a trade on thin liquidity, and it is Pump.fun's schedule to change rather than Axiom's.
To see where each fee appears when you place a trade, rather than as a table in the abstract, our walkthrough follows a single swap through the order ticket and out the other side into the fill.

And before you size a trade on a fast-moving launch, set your MEV protection mode correctly, because the priority fee and Jito tip above only cover part of execution quality.
Frequently Asked Questions
1% of the trade, gross, per Axiom's own fee documentation. A seven-tier SOL cashback program reduces that to as low as 0.75% net at the top tier. Axiom's referral documentation separately says users who sign up through a referral link get a 10% discount on trading fees. Axiom is not a zero-fee platform. If you have read otherwise, that claim belongs to a different product.
Seven tiers, named Wood, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Champion, each paying back a percentage of your trading fees in SOL, from 0.05% at Wood up to 0.25% at Champion. Axiom does not publish the trading volume required to reach each tier, and we have not found a source that does.
Yes. Axiom's fee documentation lists 0.01% per perpetuals transaction on Axiom's side. Perps orders reach Hyperliquid, which charges its own fee under its own published schedule, so what you pay in total is higher than Axiom's share alone. Read Hyperliquid's own documentation for its current maker and taker rates, because Axiom does not set them.
Both default to 0.001 SOL in Axiom and both speed up execution, but they work differently. A priority fee pays the Solana validator directly to prioritize your transaction. A Jito tip pays into Jito's MEV auction, which is also how Axiom's Reduced MEV protection mode routes trades. Raise either on a fast-moving launch where you need to win a speed race.
Axiom's referral documentation says users who sign up through a referral link receive a 10% discount on trading fees, applied automatically with no separate code to enter. How that discount interacts with the seven-tier cashback ladder is not documented by Axiom, so we do not publish a combined number for it.
Axiom does not charge its own fee to move crypto in or out. You pay standard Solana network gas, which is typically a fraction of a cent. Perps withdrawals leave through Hyperliquid's bridge, which Axiom does not operate, so the timing and any cost there are set by that bridge rather than by Axiom.
